Upon your arrival at Cusco's airport, we will transfer you to the hotel of your choice. In the afternoon, we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, Koricancha (the Temple of the Sun) and the archeological sites of Sacsayhuaman fortress, Kenko amphitheater, Puca Pucara red fortress and the water sources in Tambomachay. In the evening, we will have a briefing about this interesting activity. Accommodations for the night at the hotel of your choice in Cusco.

You will have the morning free for your personal activities and for you to rest and get ready for the night journey. In the evening, at the agreed time, we will take a bus to Maguallani. There will be a technical stop at Catca. Then, we will continue our route and will be arriving at approximately 22:00 hrs. An energizing snack box will be provided for you to have the strength to finish the 5-hour hike towards Qoyllor Ritty esplanade, where we will set up camp. During our hike, we will make a first stop at the Cross to perform a cleansing ritual. We will cleanse our body and soul thanks to some incense and the Sacred Smoke, also known as Kapachi. The Incas used this during their rituals before any important event. After the ritual, we will be able to continue our journey fully energized. 

We will be arriving at approximately 05:00 hrs. to set up camp and rest in our comfortable tents after this long journey. At the agreed time, we will celebrate a ceremony to welcome the Sun, we will have a meditation session and perform some breathing exercises. Also, we will be taught about the mystical and spiritual meaning of the festivities to honor Señor de Qoyllor Ritty. Then, we will perform a Kintu ceremony. After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to rest until 11:00 hrs. Then, we will have lunch. At 13:00 hrs. we will perform an offering to Earth and visit the Sanctuary of Señor de Qoyllor Ritty. Also, we will visit Alasita's fair, which takes place only during the festivities, and buy some souvenirs. You will have the opportunity to participate in the dances to honor this important feast. In the evening, we will have dinner. Accommodations for the night in tents.

At 07:00 hrs. we will have breakfast and visit the local native communities. We will have a close look at their lifestyle. Then we will have lunch and leave the Sanctuary. At approximately 14:00 hrs we will go down towards Maguallani. We will be arriving at approximately 17:00 hrs. to board the vehicle that will take us back to Cusco. We will be arriving at approximately 22:00 hrs.
