We will pick you up at your hotel between 05:00 hrs. and 05:30 hrs. to go by bus to Ollantaytambo. After a short break, we will arrive in Piscacucho at Km 82. Here, our helping crew will be waiting for us. Together we will continue our trek. We will have dinner and set up camp in Llulluchapampa.

After breakfast, we will continue our journey. We will walk by beautiful and demanding paths. We will cross the two highest points in our program: Warmiwañusca (at 4'200 meters above sea level - 13'779 ft) and Runcuracay (at 3'700 meters above sea level - 12'139 ft). After lunch, we will walk down towards Wiñaywayna, where we will enjoy an exquisite dinner and set up camp.

Very early in the morning, we will head to Inti Punku for us to see the first rays of light falling onto the magnificent citadel of Machu Picchu. We will walk down towards the Inca citadel while our guide explains the importance of the site (2-hour guided tour). Then, we will have some free time to wander around Machu Picchu. After the visit, we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco. We will transfer you to your hotel.
