We will start this activity in Ollantaytambo, where we will have a demo and introduction to Peruvian paso horses, as well as some basic instructions on how to handle them. We will ride through the valley of Patacancha, next to the river of the same name. We will ride through the towns of Muñaypata and Muscapiquio (Inca terraces) for about 2 hours until our arrival at the pre-Inca archaeological center of Pumamarca, one of the first Inca settlements. Then, we will return to Ollantaytambo, from where you will catch stunning views of Patacancha valley.
