At 04:00 hrs. we will leave for Paracas in private transportation. To begin our tour to the Ballestas Islands and the Candelabro, we will start visiting the Puerto de San Martín bay. We will observe the “Candelabro”, a gigantic geoglyph similar to the Nasca lines only visible from the sea. Around the Ballestas Islands we will see the marine wildlife: sea wolves, guano birds, Humbolt penguins, etc. The rock formations of Ballestas are one of the most beautiful attractions on the Peruvian coast. We will go to Paracas National Reserve to visit its Interpretation Center. Then, we will visit the natural rock formation known as the Cathedral because of its shape (this formation was damaged during 2007 earthquake). After, we will tour through the beaches of Lagunilla and Yumaque. Fossilized dinosaur eggs have been found in the latter, such eggs are still under study. Finally, we will visit the Obelisco de la Independencia (the Independence Obelisk). Tourist lunch included. At due time, we will return to Lima by bus.
