Transportation in a regular-service bus (TV, movies, toilet, on board snack and a hostess's guidance).

22:30 hrs. We leave Lima and head to the city of Huaraz (8-hour route).

06:30 hrs. Upon your arrival at Huaraz, we will take you to your hotel.

09:30 hrs. We will enjoy a 1-day tour through Callejón de Huaylas. We will visit the towns of Marcará, Carhuaz, Mancos, Ranrahirca and Yungay. You will see the exotic and quaint Llanganuco lagoon as well as a variety of flora and fauna at the Huascarán National Park. We will also go to a tourist restaurant. To wrap this tour up, we will visit the city of Caraz, a manjarblanco factory and a ceramics workshop. At the end, we will return to the city. Accommodations for the night.

09:30 hrs. We will visit Chavín de Huantar. In this site, you will see the Lanzón de Chavín (Chavín's lance), stone tenon heads, ceremonial plazas, a maze gallery, the Portada de las Falcónidas among other lithic structures. We will also visit the Cahuish tunnel, the Querococha lagoon and some mining towns. At the end, we will return to the city. Accommodations for the night.

You have to choose between this two options:

Tour 1:

09:30 hrs. We will walk through the city's main streets and visit the regional museum, the Templo de la Soledad, the street Jr. José Olaya, a trout farm, the Huanchac mirador as well as the Monterrey hot springs. Then we will return to the hotel.

Tour 2:

Another option is a trek to Honcopampa ruins. This tour begins at the town of Taricá, a craftsmen town. We will continue through the towns of Pariahuancay, San Miguel de Aco and Pampamarca, where the villagers make wooden crafts and sheep wool textiles with natural dyes. We will start this 1-hour trek at Ankipachan and reach the natural waterfalls at 3'500 meters above sea level (11'482 ft). From this point, you will have an extraordinary view from Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra. We will finish this trek once we have reached the archaeological ruins of Honcopampa, of Wari culture influence (from 600 to 900 BC). These ruins consist on a group of rectangular houses with a central patio and a chullpas cemetery or 2-floor mausoleums. You will have the afternoon free. At the end of the day we will take you back to the bus terminal.

22:00 hrs. We will return to Lima by bus.
